About the Foundation

The Santa Barbara South Coast Firefighter Foundation was established by members of the Carpinteria Summerland Fire Protection District to deepen their impact in the community. Through educational programs, outreach efforts, and fundraising, we provide essential services to firefighters, their families, and the public.

Our work is rooted in three guiding pillars:

  • Community Outreach

    Connecting with residents through CPR training, local events like the California Avocado Festival, and collaborative drills with lifeguards.

  • Benevolence Fund

    Offering financial, emotional, and practical aid to our fire families in times of personal crisis.

  • Infrastructure & Equipment

    Helping bridge the gap in public funding to ensure our fire departments have access to life-saving tools and resources.
